Design meets neuroscience.
27+ yrs in design.
PhD-to-be in neurodesign. Novelist. Strategist.
Co-thinker.

So, what can I do for you, you might ask.

Good question, since I work in design, research, stories and art. I’ll bring all these tools. Then we decide what’s needed.

Whether we’re shaping a public service, a system, or a brand — my aim is always to make you shine.

01. Science for better design & decisions
Science-based tools for radical creativity & resilient teams.
You’ll get: Science-based tools for radical creativity & innovation, team resilience.

02. Co-creation for clarity & innovation
HCD that builds connection, better decisions and questions.
You’ll get: Science & tools of team innovation, empathy and cteativity.

03. Story, science & sync for better direction
Stories literally sync our brain. That’s neuroscience (also, kind of magical). They give direction, clarity and belonging.
You’ll get: A compass: where you’re going, and why.

04. Wildly pre-formative stages for… better worlds.
No brief? Perfect. We give it shape and words.
You’ll get: Sketches, prototypes. Data.

Still little unsure, what I can do for you?
Totally understandable. Here are a few things I can help with:

  • Keynotes & talks

  • Training & workshops

  • Working with design teams

  • Strategy & concept design

  • Storytelling & communication

  • Advisory

…Or you can also just write. I’m here for you. Start mid-sentence, like most of us. ingacassidy@outlook.com

The Promise in 10 Sec:
The What, Whys & How.

The Problem
In the junk, the real stuff – humanness gets lost.

The Promise
Design can help solve our deepest societal, environmental, and systemic issues.

Why now?
AI is fast. But, also neuro tech is. Science and empathy can help build worlds we can love.

Why me?
Neuroscience + guts.
PhD-to-be.
27+ years in design & story.
Crazy Finnish SISU*.

How?
Co-thinking.
Plug-in brain.
Regular. Seasonal. 1-time.
(I usually work with only a few teams at a time.)

The real reason?
I knew you’d ask. Planet Earth is still our Plan A, right? (Mars is too far. Besides, it’s booked.)

(The unofficial why me?)
I’ve been told I’m fun to work with. I do tend to bring my black humor with me.

Q&A: What is radical empathy and neurodesign?

  • Fair question.

In brief: design, story, science, strategy. Visuals. Art.

Branding, public services, identities, infrastructures, strategy, depending on what’s needed.

  • Absolutely. I love working with smart people — in cities, public orgs, brands, research units, systems teams.

I can co-think, support, lead — I’m not precious about roles.

I just love the work and the people.

  • You get human-centered design thinking, grounded in neuroscience and radical empathy.

You get someone who cares. A strategic designer, creative director, concept thinker, writer, visual designer, and a academic researcher.

I also want to be honest. I usually work only with few projects at a time.

  • Bring you. The human. After that, we’ll get along.

(Btw, for a human, a “customer” is a human, a “user” is a human.)

  • In many ways.

Mainly I think it’s important for us to understand how our brain responds to worlds around us – and design from that space.

I always work for people, and wellbeing, keeping ethics very close. I take my responsibility seriously.

  • If it’s not a fit, I’ll say it. I want to respect both of our time.

But worry not, I’ll try to guide you to someone else I know is good.

  • We talk. You tell me what’s on your mind. I’ll listen, I’ll ask questions, and see if I can help you. Then we decide together what’s next.
